Monkey Folk
Anything that cannot adapt eventually breaks.
The Senkari are an agile, primate-descended people whose civilizations excel in vertical life, far-reaching trade, navigation, communication, adaptive engineering, and systems designed to change as conditions change. They are not a culture of tricksters or comic relief.
A people, not a costume.
Senkari look mobile even while standing still: lean athletic frames, flexible shoulders, powerful climbing legs and hips, dexterous hands, gripping feet, and dynamic posture. Presentation varies from strongly monkey-presenting to more human-presenting while retaining several Senkari identifiers. Every Senkari normally has exactly one long, expressive tail that participates in balance, gesture, climbing, and movement.
How decisions endure.
Bridge Councils gather representatives from routes, districts, guilds, and communities. Lively debate is respected, and changing one's mind after hearing a stronger argument is not inherently weakness.
Civilization has weight.
Canopy cities, cliff towns, hanging gardens, suspended roads, counterweighted lifts, river docks, cable systems, signal towers, market tiers, and portable structures create layered ground, mid-canopy, and high-canopy circulation.
Living variation
Three homelands within a homeland.
Subculture influences custom, work, dress, and architecture without deciding an individual's profession, morality, intelligence, or affinity.
Canopy Houses
Giant-tree networks known for carpentry, botanical craft, rope-making, climbing, messenger work, and lightweight engineering.

Escarpment, mesa, gorge, and bridge communities renowned for cartography, courier service, climbing schools, navigation, and mechanical engineering.

Sea-cliff, island, river-mouth, and harbor communities built around shipping, diplomacy, languages, finance, performance, and maritime exchange.

Ordinary life & public duty
A civilization cannot be reduced to warriors.
Senkari doctrine favors elevation, speed, ranged harassment, flanking, retreat, repositioning, and denying enemies a stable formation. Staves, slings, bows, ring weapons, flexible weapons, short blades, and light spears are common tendencies, not species locks.

These rules govern future public art and prevent either people from collapsing into generic fantasy filler.

- 02Clothing, armor, belts, poses, and rear views must accommodate the tail.
- 03Movement reads as spring-loaded, climbing, balancing, perching, or ready to move.
- 04Male and female models preserve approved differences in build, fur, facial presentation, and clothing.
- 05A generic human with a pasted-on tail is not sufficient.
