Real people arrive with their actual skills and knowledge. Original characters arrive with only what can be honestly explained. Samuel Dargan II will choose which submissions cross the portal.

No chosen spawn

Where you arrive is random. A road, a marsh, a market, a mountain, or somewhere with no welcoming committee at all.

No starter chest

You do not materialize beside clean armor, healing potions, and a convenient tutorial. Aruhlia is far less forgiving than that.

Your knowledge matters

Trades, medicine, cooking, repair, farming, navigation, languages, and judgment may be worth more than dramatic backstory.

Echoes Beyond the Veil

The world remembers who reaches for it.

Selected Dropped characters earn Echoes through on-site and community engagement. Echoes buy approved physical aid from the Loot Registry; purchases enter the creator's delivery queue and arrive literally through the Veil in story.
